Single Release: “Keep It Breathing.”

Always leading with honesty and transparency, Caleb Ward debuts his first single from his upcoming album, ‘Everything Is Upside Down.’ Set to release in 2021, the album was self produced by him and Leo in his bedroom studio. The juxtaposition of heavy, yet lighthearted, pop instrumentals and weighty lyricism is what sets Caleb apart from the overflow of artists in his genre.
Lubbock, Texas is seemingly the last city one would think to be the genesis of an indie-pop artist to grow up in. Always knowing he’d outgrow his hometown, Caleb made his way to Dallas, Texas in 2016 - which would only be the start for the now 24 year old singer-songwriter.
Written and recorded during quarantine, ‘Keep It Breathing.’ is the second drop the boys have planned before the much anticipated album release. “2020 has presented time for all of us to reflect on our lives and the world we live in.” Weighed down by the conflict he felt between motive in good intentions and genuine love, Caleb processed his thoughts in song. “Being well-intentioned can mean a lot of things, yes. Maybe most times it’s far from the worst thing to be- but is having “good” intentions good enough? I think we could all be more burdened by the desire, the conviction, to be a force of love in the lives of the people around us.”
