SHAED, an electro-pop trio consisting of Chelsea Lee and brothers Spencer and Max Ernst, have released yet another melodious single. Their second track of 2017, “Lonesome”, only has us craving for more of their unique sound. Their music is influenced by bands and artists ranging from Radiohead to Active Child. SHAED recently supported Sir Sly on their North American tour, and they won over plenty of new listeners (us included), and have nearly 8.5 million streams on Spotify. “Lonesome” has us mourning a relationship we weren’t even in, but at the same time leaving us in awe with Chelsea’s emotional vocals. The song embodies the pain and mystery of heartbreak, and the detachment from a serious lover. Compared to their first single released this year, "Lonesome" talks more about keeping a relationship together rather than trying to get out of one as we hear in "Too Much." The production of the track is phenomenal and accompanies the story being told through Lee's view. "Lonesome" perfectly describes what young love is and the problems that come along with it, proving that love isn't a cake walk.
