Chicago-based Latinx punks Divino Niño (guitarist Camilo Medino and bassist Javier Forero -- who met as kids in Bogotá, Colombia -- along with guitarist Guillermo Rodriguez and drummer Pierce Codina) make rhythmic, soulful and at times bilingual songs that showcase the undeniable chemistry between the lifelong friends. The hypnotic and inviting video for their psychedelic new single "Foam" premiered at Gorilla vs. Bear, which called it a "balmy new psych-pop gem,” and found fans in Bandcamp Daily, Remezcla, and Beats 1 radio. Divino Niño will be supporting Durand Jones & The Indications on their April U.S. tour. Look out for news about the rising band’s forthcoming debut for Winspear later this year.
